📢The University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN) this week officially welcomed 📢
a group of Master’s students under a prestigious sponsorship program. The students, who recently arrived to commence their studies, were received in a special meeting organized by the University leadership and held at the office of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Jean-Marie Kayembe..
The Vice Chancellor further highlighted the academic expectations for the sponsored students, emphasizing the need to complete their Master’s degree programs within the stipulated two-year period. He outlined the academic roadmap, which includes coursework, research proposal development, data collection, thesis writing, and final defense. all to be achieved within the program’s designated timeframe.
“Time management, commitment to research excellence, and proactive engagement with supervisors and faculty members will be key to your success. The University of Kinshasa is committed to supporting you throughout this journey,” Prof. Kayembe noted..
The meeting also provided an opportunity for the students to interact with University Deans, Directors of Postgraduate Studies, and other members of the academic administration, who pledged their support to help the students excel both academically and professionally.
On behalf of the sponsored students, a representative expressed appreciation to the University leadership for the warm welcome and for granting them the platform to advance their academic careers. The students are expected to officially begin their coursework in the coming weeks, marking the start of a focused, two-year academic journey at the University of Kinshasa.
